And what an emotional experience it was when I knew about the review of Music in Stories 1 CD in The Times newspaper by Christina Hardyment... I was at the Story Telling Festival (see post below) and the man selling books at one of the tents showed me the article: 'that's how I knew of it and how I happen to be selling the CDs here, at the festival'. The article actually mentions the festival and of the good timing to have Music in Stories CD released just in time for it! :)
So here you have:
'Listening to stories accompanied by atmospheric musical effects is the most entrancing of pastimes, and next weekend sees the return of Beyond The Borders, the Wales International storytelling festival at St Donats Castle, near Cardiff. Persian musicians are to be a star feature, so this is perfect timing for the release of a new collection of Middle Eastern tales, each accompanied by an exotic instrument. Music in Stories (1 CD, 1hr, £8 + £1 p&p from robinabw@gmail.com) is made up of exiting, thought- provoking and amusing stories from Iraq, Persia, Turkey, Palestine and Egypt. Narrated by Philip Arditti and sensitively produced by Robina Beckles Willson with children in mind, it is a feast for young and old alike'
